Streamlining Retail, Wholesale & Private Label Orders
Eat My Shortbread
A specialty bakery in Oshawa, Ontario, owned by Trisha Bower, offering handcrafted, nut-free shortbread for retail, wholesale, and private label.
The Overview
Trisha’s website wasn’t helping her sell the way it should. Her baked goods weren’t the focal point and key services like wholesale and private label were hard to find. The shopping experience made it harder for customers to buy, causing missed sales and lost opportunities.
She needed a website that put her baked goods back in the spotlight, made shopping easier for customers, and streamlined wholesale and specialty orders. At the same time, she wanted full control so when inspiration hit at 5 AM, she could update her site without waiting on a developer.
What We Did
We revamped Trisha’s Shopify site to make shopping easier for customers and managing orders simpler for her.
First, we updated her theme for a fresh, modern look while cutting out costly app subscriptions she didn’t need. Her homepage was streamlined with clear calls to action, making it easier for customers to find what they need and putting her key revenue streams front and center.
We optimized her product images so her baked goods took center stage, streamlined navigation, and refreshed the copy to make browsing effortless. During the revamp, Trisha also refined her pricing and introduced a higher-end gift box, making corporate and holiday gifting easier. Within days, customers started placing orders for the higher-end gift boxes.
For wholesale buyers, we built a private portal to simplify bulk ordering and make event sales smoother. We also created a dedicated landing page for her private label service, giving potential partners a clear path to explore their options and reach out.
Now, Trisha can tweak a product, update a price, or launch a new offer whenever she wants.
The Outcome
Customers are placing orders more easily, and wholesale buyers can get what they need without back-and-forth emails. The shopping experience is smoother, and it’s paying off in sales.
Best of all, Trisha now has full control of her website. When she wants to launch something new, she can update it in minutes—freeing her up to focus on what she does best: baking, growing, and serving her customers.
A word from Trisha, post-revamp:
Working with Nikki again was straightforward and focused on what really matters for my business. She understood exactly what I needed, and her insights helped me make smart choices without getting overwhelmed.
Before, my site wasn’t showing what I actually offered, and customers had trouble finding what they needed.
Now, my site finally shows off everything I offer, and managing it is simple. Customers love how easy it is to shop, and I love that I can update it whenever I need to.
