Gaffer and 2nd Unit Director of Photography. 30+ years lighting film and television sets.

Steve and I have worked together since 2021. He came to me with a placeholder site that wasn't doing him any favours. Thirty years in the industry, major productions under his belt, and the kind of schedule that doesn't leave much room for keeping resumes, reels, and a website current.

The first revamp in 2021: We gave him a proper professional presence — everything a production needs, presented professionally. Within two weeks of launch, Steve landed a major project, and an agent.

This revamp involved:

• New domain and professional site build

• Homepage slideshow showcasing career highlights

• Video reel edit and upload

• Downloadable resume and equipment kit

• Private references page with industry contacts

• IMDB and LinkedIn profile optimized

The second revamp in 2024: As his focus shifted, so did the site. Clear positioning for two roles, with targeted copy that gives productions the full picture without the usual back-and-forth.

This revamp involved:

• Dedicated page for Gaffer work, including affiliations and downloadable credits

• Dedicated page for 2nd Unit DOP work, including affiliations and downloadable credits

• Supervised the edit of new DOP reel

• Targeted copy for each role

• Updated references page

• IMDB and LinkedIn profile updates

After each project, we make everything current: slideshows updated, credits and resume current, IMDB profile maintained.

When he's on set and needs something changed fast, a few texts back and forth and it's done. He can respond to an enquiry anytime from anywhere, knowing his site and downloadable docs are current.
